I loved playing dress-up as a kid, and gender never seemed to be a factor. That’s what imagination is about, right? Being someone/where else?
Our dress up games were as soldiers, Indians or creatures/monsters. Born in the early 50s, there was no cross dressing. Also did some cardboard armor as knights and face masks and socks as ninja.
Crossdressing is ace, if only because you can do/play/be SO much more. I wish I’d done it more. :)
On a side note, the Pythons have said that what they *really* had in common was they liked dressing up in a drag and acting silly in it.
Don’t be Gendering, Vachel ;)
