Yeah, that’s one of the fun things with humor is the subtle surreal. A noise you expect to hear, but if you think about the situation, it is out of place.
It’s called refrigerator logic.
Well, I guess that explains why people that TP houses never seem to run out of toilet paper!
Huh. “refrigerator logic.” Flaws you only realize later at night when standing in front of the refrigerator. I’ve never heard that term, but I like it. :)
Hitchcock coined it. Of course, it was a bit stronger in his case since the people had to leave the cinema, return home, take their fancy going-to-the-movies clothes off, and then go to the fridge.
I love the look of regret on the squirrel’s face when he tells them he has nothing of nutritional value to hand out. Perfectly depicted.
