I find this similar to relationships. Sometimes it’s so easy just to apologize, try to bridge a gap, be the first to extend the olive branch.
True, when you’re the ONLY one who ever does it, it can become a desturctive force.
Blake’s still singing! Or maybe dogs don’t sing, since their ears may be as tuned to music as their eyes are to colors. That is to say, Blake’s just barking his gray way along!
@Gale: If you listen to any pack of dogs howling, you might notice that they sing in very dissonant “harmonies.” This has the effect of making the pack sound larger than they are. So I imagine that Blake’s singing would sound dissonant to us.
Fun thing to try; next time you’re where a dog is howling, howl in good harmony with it. You will confuse the dog greatly.
