One of the things I enjoyed about writing Ted is his understatement. he could’ve flown off the handle at vachel, but setting another place at the table is such a quiet statement, which says EVERYTHING he wants to say.

Tofu is the lovechild of Styrofoam and Jell-o. No self-respecting dog will eat it. Poor Blake and Vachel.
What’s Ted all sanctimonious about? He’s an omnivore, and a darned good predator as well.
Well that would certainly be a different comic strip wouldn’t it. The turkey is seated at the table. Everybody sits down at the table around him. Then Vachael says “Light meat or Dark meat?” Then everybody turns towards the turkey and tears him apart into individual parts.
