   Even Vachel is being helpful to Blake, because he knows what Ted is building up by being frozen in the ice and having to play French waiter with Dee.

   Ted may be a vegetarian, but there must be limits to his goodness and patience. Or, as Jerry Clower once said, “Angry enough to make a Bishop put his foot through a stained glass window”.

   I’m just wondering where Vachel got a plane ticket and passport for Blake. Also why is he not going with him till spring?
