For some reason, it being pickles was very important to me in this gag.
Also, a lot of perspective! Not something I did a lot in the strip since they lived in a cave and so the backgrounds were organic for the most part.

This is one of the first strips I’m putting up for sale which somehow wasn’t put up in the first run (perhaps I was too attached to it)
I love her hand prints on his jacket. :)
Sometimes with a kid you have to be very specific.
At first, i was going to draw Blake in human clothes as a disguise as well. And then I realized that would be not make any sense. As much sense as a bear and vulture in clothes. It’s all perspective.
Ted’s outfit still makes me smile.
