That’s one of the interesting things about kids. Sometimes they don’t need “understanding” or attention, sometimes they just need a diversion.

Gumdrops and Galaga would totally work for me too! ;D
Yep. Or a great sci-fi movie and non-pariels.or jujubes
I remember Galaga. Great fun. Much better than Pac Man or Ms Pac Man. I have the “Pac Man Fever” song by Buckner and Garcia on MP3.
The first video game I played was the granddaddy of them all. “OXO”.
♫ Oh Chriiiiiiiis, ♪ the taaaag ♩. (It’s also missing on Wednesday’s strip)
@War Pig: is OXO another name for tic-tac-toe? Or is it the “hugs and kisses” line that some people put at the end of love notes?
BTW, hurray for short attention spans!
@Frank! Auugh! As usual, i am so scattered! Fixed! :)
@ Frank:
OXO is indeed the tic-tac-toe game, It’s the first real video/computer game ever. Written in 1952, I believe. Although they called it tic-tac-toe in the movie “War Games”, it was indeed a nod to OXO. I played it on a business computer in the mid-sixties. It was 20 years earlier than Pong, virtually dinosaur age in computer time.
