   Make a chocolate cake. If she doesn’t spring out of bed like a rocket, get out the medicine – it’s gonna be a long weekend.

   Family always said they could tell when I was feeling better, I turned into an eating machine for a day or two. 5 pieces of French toast w/REAL maple syrup, 4-6 scrambled eggs, half a package of bacon, 8 sausage links, full slice of fried ham, hash browns, milk and coffee. Then for lunch I ate ALL the leftovers in the fridge, along with the last of the luncheon meats and wanted a 3 pound meatloaf for supper.

   I was skinny as a rail back then. Now I have to eat salads to stay on weight. Ugh.
