Also, that’s the problem with taking on others emotions, when the “others” emotions change you’re kinda at a loss. :)

Kids. On some things they do have the attention span of a goldfish. On other, seemingly similar things, they have to go to therapy as adults to resolve. And there is no way to know which is which.

Actually, it can be very easy to tell which is which. You just have to be willing to see. ;)
