I’m not so fond of the added history of this holiday (I like the original harvest festival idea), but I do love the food and the friends and the family.
And I’m on my way to stay with family now. But, don’t worry, you’ll get ALL of your comics, even on Thanksgiving. :)
I’m not sure if the theme this week is leaves or donuts.
I’m looking out my window and realized I got in some raking comedy RIGHT BEFORE it was to late. I would have been more acutely aware of it, if I’d actually raked this year. Count my blessings.
Ha! I remember this one, not wanting ted to have to say anything funny to break the earnest heartache he was feeling. So I had Vachel step in, always good for lending a wing in such circumstances.
Vachel’s comment about “Eulogy Hour” was a funny way of putting it. As she says goodbye this week to the core group, I wanted to take a strip for each to say goodbye. To not rush it. But it did seem somewhat like eulogies.
It’s a full color, 128 pages, a graphic novel story featuring the main cast from Little Dee. And hopefully with many sequels (that’s in discussion).
